My name is Damian Hooker, and I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Louisiana Monroe in Monroe, Louisiana and later obtained my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Before becoming a NP, I worked as an ICU Registered Nurse for 5 years taking care of critical patients. Having this experience allowed me to see patients from different medical and psychiatric backgrounds. When not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going to the gym. I am dedicated in providing evidence based and culturally competent care to my patients.
